Warranty

    • All Andis products have a 1-year warranty from date of purchase. Products can be sent to Andis for repair or replacement (our choice—we base this on models) if proof of purchase is provided. Unfortunately, you will have to cover shipping on this one. There is more info about all this on the Use and Care card.

    • If the blade set fails to cut to your expectations, it will be resharpened free of charge if returned within 10 days of purchase. Please call our Customer Support Team at 800-558-9441 or email us at info@andisco.com so we can get you all the information you need.

    • Yes! If you have an Andis Master Blade or UltraEdge Detachable Blade, we can sharpen your blade for $10 per blade. Please call our Customer Support Team at 800-558-9441 or email us at info@andisco.com so we can get you all the information you need to send your blades in. If you have an Andis CeramicEdge Blade, you do not need to sharpen your blade, but can replace the Ceramic Cutter. Call us if you have any questions on this!

      Unfortunately, we do not sharpen blades that are broken or have rust on them. In this case or if your blade is not listed above, we’d recommend you purchase a replacement blade.

    • The best way is to check your receipt. Our 1-year warranty period begins from the date of purchase, or for residents of California the date of delivery. And be sure to hang on to that receipt—you will need it to validate the warranty if you need to get something repaired or replaced. You can find more warranty specifics on the Use and Care pamphlet enclosed with your product.

    • Yes, if you bought them directly from Andis or an authorized Andis dealer.

    • If you buy something used or from an unauthorized third-party seller, we cannot honor the warranty on your product. Also, any modified units void an product warranty. Modifications may include any painting, cutting, or tampering with the unit. Please take a look at the Use & Care pamphlet enclosed with your product for more details.

      Also, wearable parts such as blades, foil heads, or cutters are not covered under the 1-year warranty. If your product wears out or becomes damaged over time, we recommend purchasing a replacement blade, foil, or cutter.

    • Please contact Customer Support at 1-800-558-9441 or email us at info@andisco.com so we can gather all of the necessary information, create a case for you, and get you everything you need to return your order to our facility.

    • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer extended warranties. For more details, please refer to the Use and Care document which is enclosed with your product. However, we do repair many products that are outside of the 1-year warranty period. Just reach out to us for more information!

    • Nearly all clippers and trimmers can be repaired. However, depending on the price of the repair and shipping, it may be more cost effective to simply buy a new unit if it’s not under warranty.

    • Fees for repairs vary. However, below are general guidelines for repair fees based on the model of your unit:
      ■ Level 1: $20.00 (AAC-1, D8, GO/GTO/GTX, LCL, RT-1, US-1)
      ■ Level 2: $50.00 (CTA-1, LCL-2, ML/GC, MBG Series)
      ■ Level 3: $75.00 (AG/AGC Series, AGR/BGR Corded, BDC, BGC, DBLC-2, MLC, ORL/ORL-S, SMC)

    • If your product is sent directly to the Andis factory in Wisconsin, we are only able to accept credit card payments (Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express) and are unable to accept cash or checks. Payment for repairs is required prior to service being started. Once your unit arrives at our facility, a Customer Support team member will contact you for payment. Please reach out with any questions at 1-800-558-9441.

    • We will happily replace any product that we cannot repair and is still under warranty.

    • Yes! We recommend reaching out to us before sending any product in so we can create a case and get you all of the information you need.

    • Registering is easy! Just visit the Andis website's Product Registration page to enter your information. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase so be sure to retain your purchase receipt for verification.

    • Not including transit time to and from our factory, repairs typically take 5-7 days once we’ve received your item.
